Brown Bag Campaign: Valentines Day 1000 Update

Valentines day has come and gone, and I am proud to say that we were able to fill it with not just LOVE, but also COMPASSION!

I wanted to give you an update of how we did with the Valentines Day 1000.

Though we did not reach out goal of 1000 bags by Valentines day, we did collect 184 bags of food that totaled over 2000 items of food!

We might not have hit our goal of 1000 bags, but can you imagine over 2000 items of food?

And don’t forget, that 184 bags of food, over 2000 items, were collected by people who did not know each other, who were not being paid. The only motivation was the fact that they wanted to help someone else.

Because of your generosity, there are people right now that have dinner on their tables that would otherwise not have any.

I am going to keep trying to get people to collect bags of food at least until we hit the 1000 bag goal.

I am so excited about how this went! I can’t wait to see this grow as we continue to step away from our keyboards and come together to help change the world.
